About Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC)
Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) launched the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) program in collaboration with AICTE to systematically foster the culture of Innovation and start-up ecosystem in higher education institutions.
MoE innovation cell
Innovation cell is MoE’s initiative established at AICTE with a purpose to systematically foster the culture of Innovation in all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the country.
Functions of IIC
Identify and reward innovations and share success stories. Organize periodic workshops/ seminars/ interactions with entrepreneurs, investors, professionals and create a mentor pool for student innovators. Network with peers and national entrepreneurship development organizations.
MIC driven activity
MIC Driven Activity – MIC schedules various activities from time to time on its own or in collaboration with partner organization and government departments. These activities are scheduled on IIC portal under MIC Driven Activity tab.
