The Thin Films And materials science Research laboratory, Department of physics is an interdisciplinary of research in the area of dilute magnetic semiconductors, nanoparticles, thin films, ferrite and nanomaterials. The broad interdisciplinary experience in materials science and nanotechnology in physics there by reflecting the current research and development industrial environment. the center currently focuses on themes of oxide thin films, solar cell applications and gas sensing applications.

International e-Conference on Material Science & Nanotechnology 2020
The International e-Conference on Material Science & Nanotechnology to sensitize scientists, professors & students them towards Material Science & Nanotechnology was organized at Dayanand Science College, Latur on 17-19 December 2020. A prominent scientist Dr. Alin Clevari (France) inaugurated the conference. During the inaugural ceremony, all the participants took a pledge of Non-Violence towards the Environment.
