KNOWLEDGE RESOURCE CENTRE
Dayanand Science College is established in 1961. The Science College has given Independent status to the Library from 1971. The Library has 68799 books available till date. Reading Room, Night Library, Internet facility are available in the library. 10 computers with internet / WI-FI access are available for the students in the library. Library is protected with fire extinguisher and CCTV security systems. Library has computerized books, 20 Journals, Periodicals, 246 CD/DVDs, DELNET, Inflibnet accessing e-books and e-journals etc. Reference section, circulation counter, Staff reading room is available in the library. The Library has various user friendly services. The Library is the heart of knowledge and information. It is an essential and integral component of our institution.
At the opening, Librarian was Shri. Narsinh Govindrao Phatak. His tenure was from 1965 to 2004. At present Librarian is Shri. Kiran Rangnath Bhise has been working as a Librarian since 2006 to till date.
